Friday Roundup | 11/21/2025
This week started off strong and rejuvenating and empowering, and petered out into pure exhaustion partway through. I kept with my commitment to show up for running every day, but left room for gentleness in terms of speed and distance. At this stage, my momentum with the habit matters much more than any particular outcome.
The Rundown
Saturday, November 15: 3.25 miles. 645 feet gained. 38m 24s. Rediscovered strength.
Sunday, November 16: 4.21 miles. 740 feet gained. 47m 58s. Tried out a new trail. Realized that my downhill running needs some serious work.
Monday, November 17: 4 miles. 504 feet gained. 58m 14s. WOW night and gal chats are always pure magic.
Tuesday, November 18: 1.5 miles. 179 feet gained. 16m 15s.
Wednesday, November 19: 1.55 miles. 165 feet gained. 17m 53s.
Thursday, November 20: 1.6 miles. 448 feet gained. 20m 142.
Friday, November 21: Rest day. I am unbelievably exhausted. The 2:30 AM wakeup call for classes really hit hard today. I’m looking forward to catching up on some rest over the weekend.
