Why documentary photography?
I’m a mother. I know how much magic is overlooked in the everyday.
When you’re in it up close, it’s hard to see the full picture of how rich you are.
But when we can see images of our families, homes, and meaningful spaces from the outside looking in, there’s a shift. We’re transported to that moment in time, and it all becomes clear.
Seeing authentic photos of the ones we love, in the places where we love them, is transformative. It's like taking in the majesty of the world we've built for the very first time.
Your family is perfect, just as they are. And your sessions with me will show just how true that statement is.

Documentary family photographer living on the Wasatch Front with my husband, three children, and smooth collie, Sampa.
I’m a lover of life and living in all its forms, and I carry this love with me into every session I shoot. Even in the midst of the wildness that it is to live, I've discovered a sense of reverence that accompanies me through my days. What an honor it is to live. What an honor it is to document that living.
It's this perspective that shapes every photo I take.
